Diane Hunger is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist celebrated for her refined sound, expressive depth, and artistic versatility. Equally at home on the concert stage and in the classroom, she performs widely across Europe and the United States, with highlights including Carnegie Hall and solo appearances with the Hamburg Symphony. Hunger teaches saxophone at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and serves as Chair of the German Saxophone Association (ARDESA), while maintaining a close collaboration with composers to expand the instrument’s repertoire.
