About the event
On Tuesday evenings, a weekly free-to-attend jazz session takes place. The evening opens with a one-hour concert by a regular group. After that, the session becomes “open,” and professional musicians as well as conservatory students play repertoire that is either agreed upon on the spot or emerges spontaneously. Feel free to drop by and hear both established names and the jazz musicians of the future in an informal setting.

This season, Tilburg-based saxophonistRik van der Madebrings a super-swinging house band six times. The evening features a full program of two sets of music, where they perform their favorite repertoire. From the second set onward, there is of course the opportunity to join the band, so prepare your best standard, bring your instrument or voice, and let yourself be carried away by the magic of making music together.
