Timothy McAllister is a leading soprano saxophonist and champion of contemporary music. A member of the PRISM Quartet since 2001, he has premiered over 300 works, recorded more than 60 albums, and appeared with major orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic. He recorded a GRAMMY®-winning album of John Adams’s music and premiered Tyshawn Sorey’s Pulitzer Prize–winning Adagio. McAllister has been Professor of Saxophone at the University of Michigan since 2014.
