[NL] Sax Summit 2026: Speel mee in een orkest van 60 tot 80 saxofonisten!
Van 26 t/m 31 mei 2026 nodigen we jou uit om deel te nemen aan een uniek saxofoonorkest! Of je nu amateur bent of conservatoriumstudent, en of je nu sopraan-, alt-, tenor- of baritonsaxofoon speelt – iedereen is welkom bij de Sax Summit.
Wat kun je verwachten?
🎶 Repetities & Concert
De repetities vinden plaats in het Factorium, waar we onder leiding van William Schaffels samen verschillende muziekstukken instuderen. William zorgt voor een ontspannen sfeer en geeft waardevolle tips om je samenspel te verbeteren.
Op 31 mei sluiten we deze dagen af met een gezamenlijk concert op het Pieter Vreedeplein, dé kans om samen te spelen en nieuwe muzikale contacten te leggen.
🎷 Groot afsluitingsconcert
Op 1 juni volgt een groots afsluitingsconcert in de Schouwburgzaal in Tilburg. Het saxofoonorkest (vrijwillige deelname) treedt samen op met Sophia’s Vereniging uit Loon op Zand en het docententeam van de Sax Summit, onder leiding van Jos Schroevers.

From May 26 to May 31 2026, we invite you to be part of a unique saxophone orchestra! Whether you're an amateur or a conservatory student, and whether you play soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone – everyone is welcome at Sax Summit.
What to Expect?
🎶 Rehearsals & Concert
Rehearsals will take place at Factorium, where we will study various musical pieces together under the guidance of William Schaffels. William creates a relaxed atmosphere and provides valuable tips to improve your ensemble playing.
On May 31, we will conclude these sessions with a joint concert at Pieter Vreedeplein – a fantastic opportunity to perform together and connect with fellow saxophonists.
🎷 Grand Finale Concert
On June 1, the Sax Summit will conclude with a spectacular final concert at the Schouwburgzaal in Tilburg. The saxophone orchestra (voluntary participation) will perform alongside Sophia’s Vereniging from Loon op Zand and the Sax Summit teaching team, conducted by Jos Schroevers.
